This is Orly’s Lunar Eclipse. I fell in love with this color when I first saw it at Ulta. It was on sale and everything, but I was already carrying 5 bottles and figured 5 would be enough for the day. I saw this lacquer again at a nail supply store and bought it immediately! It’s a beautifully bright cobalt blue with purple glitters. The picture doesn’t really do the purple glitter any justice, but I tried!

I was inspired by all the Little Mermaid themed crafts I’ve been doing the past week. The purple is Zoya’s Julieanne and the green is Zoya’s Charla. Julieanne was a little sheer and took me 3 coats for full opacity. But still beautiful. Reminds me of OPI’s LA Ink (dupes, maybe?). Charla is actually more of a blue polish with green glitters. I think the sponge absorbed all the blue, and I was still left with the gorgeous green. Either way, I absolutely love Charla. Definitely one of my favorite Zoyas and I highly, highly recommend it.

Here is Zoya’s Feifei. This is a light blue base polish with very fine gold and blue glitters. The picture really doesn’t do it any justice. I wish I had a better camera so I could show you all this gorgeous color! It took 4 coats for full opacity.
This is just the first of my 6 new Zoyas that I bought from the BOGO sale, so you’ll be seeing swatches for them soon!

Mickey and Minnie! To celebrate the unblockage of my Disneyland annual pass!
I used Milani’s Gold Glitz, Julep’s Glenn, and Ulta’s Little Black Dress. The Milani is a gorgeous one coat glitter. I repeat. One coat. And the best part? It’s only $3.99 at Target! Here is Butter London’s Henley Regatta.
This is 4 thin coats on top of China Glaze’s Custom Kicks. This is a truly gorgeous speckled glitter that dries very quickly. I was actually debating between this one and The Black Knight last week and I ended up choosing The Black Knight. But I couldn’t let go of this one so I came back to get it! Courtesy of Ulta’s birthday coupon, of course.
Inspired by @mililypolish. Loved her coral and accent nail and I just had to do my own, but with my Maya from Zoya that I got last week.
But here it is. Maya by Zoya. This is a gorgeous opaque pinkish coral lacquer. I think two coats would have been good enough, but I did three anyway. The accent nail is Give Me the 1st Dance from Nicole by OPI. It’s from the Biebz’s One Less Lonely Girl collection. I got this polish for $1.99 at my local Ulta.

Here are Zoya’s Wednesday and Chanel’s Peridot for the polka dots. Both lacquers are wonderfully opaque. I used two coats of Wednesday in this manicure and I typically only need one coat of Peridot when I’m painting the entire nail.

Here is Zoya - Malia again! I haven’t done the party nail in so long and I figured now was as good a time as any. The silver stripes are actually tape that I bought from the bornprettystore. I bought the pack of twelve (different colors) for only $8.99 and it came with free shipping!

Currently sporting Zoya’s Malia. Just got this one in the mail last night, along with Wednesday and America (more swatches up later). Purple isn’t usually my color of choice for manicures, but this purple is gorgeous. It’s bright and warm, but far from obnoxious. This shade is perfect for summer and it’s easily become one of my favorite Zoya lacquers.
P.S. Malia is a very opaque polish. Pictured above is only one coat!

Recently went through my photos and realized that I forgot to share this manicure with all of you :( but I think I did this manicure right after finals of spring quarter. Obviously, ever since I discovered s-lacquer’s gradient tutorial, I’ve been a little gradient-crazy. But it’s super easy and super fun. Anyone looking to dive into nail art should start with this tutorial!
The metallic pink is by Color Club, but I can’t think of the exact name off the top of my head. And the gold is just some cheap nail polish I bought the week before finals to relieve stress. So typical of me. But anyway, happy polishing!
