Hi, I'm Krystal. And I really like doing my nails.
Spring is hereeee! Dedicated to my sorority advisor, Heatherly! :)
This is my second attempt at floral nails so cut me some slack! But here I used: Essie’s Absolutely Shore (light green), Essie’s Heavenly Sunset (pink background of the polka dot), Essie’s Eternal Optimist (light pink) and American Apparel’s Hunter (for the leaves).
What do you all think?

My first Manicure Muse for this blog’s first year anniversary! (& happy half birthday to me heheh. I just really like celebrating things.)
The muse: The look is from Versace’s Spring Ready to Wear 2013 collection. The manicure: I used China Glaze’s Sea Spray, Essie’s Mesmerize and Orly’s White Tips. And there’s a bit of Chanel’s Peridot in there because you must know by now that it’s one of my favorites! And if anyone’s interested, here is the link to the tutorial for the marble effect.
As mentioned before, it’s been a whole year since I first started this blog. I’m so happy that I could share my designs with you all and frankly, I’m even happier that you guys actually like them! Thanks to everyone for the support and feedback over the past year. I’m looking forward to doing some new designs and trying new things to show all of you, so keep an eye out!
As always, happy polishing! x

One of my three Deborah Lippmanns! I actually got a different one and exchanged it for this one and I’m beyond happy with my decision. How gorgeous is this? It’s called Dancing in the Dark and it has a gray base with different sized silver glitters. It took me 3 coats for full opacity, but you could definitely get away with 2.
Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year!Stay polished :) xx

Cheers to procrastination! Here’s my first successful leopard print manicure! My first attempt at leopard print nails ended up looking like cow spots, so I’m really, really happy with the way this manicure turned out. I was originally gonna do the print on the entire nail, but I got lazy so I turned to my favorite gold, Peridot. Oops!
The polishes I used were:Essie - Mesmerize (blue)Essie - Licorice (black)China Glaze - Hang Ten Toes (pink)Chanel - Peridot (gold)

Featuring my favorite glitter: Butter London’s Bubbly Jubbly. I bought this a couple months ago during Ulta’s BOGO Butter London sale. Bubbly Jubbly is a relatively opaque and super gorgeous pink base with gold, blue and red glitters; this only took me two coats. Topped this off with my Seche Vite top coat, as always.
To all my amazing and loyal followers: I’m so sorry for the lack of updates! I’ve been bombarded with midterms and work and all of that. My last midterm is tomorrow so I’ll be sure to post more often! If you have any requests or suggestions for me, feel free to just send them my way through the ask box!

Zoya’s Charla.
I don’t really have much to say about Charla because I think the picture says more than enough! The only thing is that I don’t know why it took me so long to finally get this gorgeous polish! It’s an opaque polish; I only used 2 coats for this manicure. I used this color last week because it matched perfectly with my outfit to Mickey’s Halloween Party! My roommate and I dressed up and the ugly step sisters from Cinderella and I was Drizella. :)

Happy polishing, everyone!PS it’s midterm season so I’ve been a little swamped, but I should have another photo for you all by the end of the week or this weekend!

Polishes used: Zoya’s Kelly and China Glaze’s Hang Ten Toes.
Hang Ten Toes is actually an obnoxiously bright neon pink. I originally chose that color because it’s become one of my favorite pinks and I knew I wouldn’t be able to get away with wearing it in the fall, so I figured I’d squeeze it into my first fall manicure for the year. But the obnoxious neon pink turned into a really pretty and rather dark magenta color over the dark gray. So I guess it all worked out! I just wanted to do a really simple design because I’m sure you all are getting tired of my gradient manicures. I’ll try to have another one up by the end of next week!
Happy polishing, y’all!

Here’s a super simple and cute silver glitter gradient. I used Nicole by OPI’s Give Me the 1st Dance from the Biebz One Less Lonely Girl collection. For the glitters, I used Essie’s Set in Stones and China Glaze’s Nova.
Happy polishing!
PS I’ve been super busy with sorority recruitment stuff and moving into the house so I apologize for the lack of posts! Be sure to check back in a week because I’ll be all settled in and I’ll have some more manicures for you. Thank you all so much for your support!
